[(F-777) Basshunter - Love Mix]

I like it

I think that it get's a little repetitive after a while, but sometimes that's ok. I like the little tweaks you add to it as it goes along. The little variations keep it moving forward, and keep up focus. It's a nice mix.

Every once in a while, you have a missed entrance, and it is pretty repetitive, but otherwise it's very good. Good idea, just not developed well.

I would have to agree

I think that this is a damn good piece. I like the transition from the original melodic statement through all of the variations and other themes, eventually leading back to that original theme. I like how you also take a harmony and turn it into the melody at one point, and then change the instrumentation, and slightly change the theme. There's a whole lot more, but I don't want to write a text book analysing it... unless you want me to.. :p One thing I might suggest is to expand on these ideas. I think some of the ideas you present in the piece are very good, and you could even play with styles and transitions that you use in different ways. I also think that if you used all of your sections at once (in some way) at the end, it would make it much more climactic. A lot of themes and motion happening at once gives a better sense of size and power. I think adding that section at 2:01 (especially if you extend it a bit, and add some cool countermelodies, harmonies, and stuff. maybe even just augment themes or something) to the end would make the end of the piece seem bigger, more important, and more substantial. But that's just what I think... :p

I think you do well setting up each section, though 2:10-2:20 sounds odd. and after that is just oddly repetitive. 2:50-3:00 is a better "drop out" section. a lot of good stuff here, but almost boringly repetative. maybe this was better suited as a loop, instead.

this is a really interesting piece. the way you piece the different themes together is very interesting. you are good at taking a couple simple themes and tying them together into a cool string of ideas.

good concept, not so good piece

I think the idea was good, and the openning development of the themes was good, but I got bored with it pretty quickly. I think that the development section should be longer, and more contrasting. I was expecting something more.. mystic as well. this felt more like a slow funk, or something. the synth strings didn't really make it "mystic enough."

great work. it's a really cool piece. very stunning work. I'd say just make it a little longer, and give it an ending. It doesn't work too well as a loop.

really? I know the flash player sometimes messes up and cuts it off too short or long, but sometimes it works as a perfect loop.

Oh well, the loop itself doesn't work out as well as I wanted it to. Expanding it is definitely a worthwhile project I should undertake at some point!

I think it's a really cool piece of work, but I had a hard time hearing the original theme. I think as a remix, it isn't great, but as a piece, it's awesome!
